Professional Activities of MES’s IMCC 2020-21
CodeYoda online coding competition organized by Mes’ IMCC CSI Student Chapter, on 17 th Aug 2020 online has
successfully completed and declared the winners. Before organising this event, a special guest lecture was conducted for students 1 month prior to the event, regarding ‘Getting To Know HackerRank’ by Mr. Aniruddha Gohad. Mr. Aniruddha Gohad who is a Co-Founder of Radon Technology, had given a tour guide of HackerRank in the guest lecture and solved student’s queries, which helped students become hassle-free to attend CodeYuda using HackerRank as a platform on 17th Aug 2020. On the day of event, almost 91 students had took part with great enthusiasm, and out of 91 students, 3
students were declared as winners who are as follows:
- Kaustubh Kulkarni from MCA II stood first.
- Nupur Bhave from MCA II stood second.
- Shubham More from MCA II stood third.
Kudos to these Young Yodas!!
Code Yoda was organised under CSI Student Chapter of IMCC and received great response from students of IMCC. It was conducted online on 17th August 2020.
Online Quiz Competition
Every year since 2008, Nov 11 is celebrated as National Education Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was independent India's first education minister. On the occasion of National Education Day MES IMCC CSI Student Chapter has organized a online quiz competition.
To reinvent the education system and give students a break from traditional classroom learning, there is a need to revive the quiz culture in colleges. And technology can act as a facilitator by bringing innovation to quizzes and ensuring active participation among students.
The Quiz was conducted on Quizizz Platform. Questions from Computer Fundamental, Data Structure, C programming, Python programming, Operating systems, Software Engineering, DBMS were included in the quiz.
Total questions: 50
Time: 30 Mins,
41 Students participated in the event.
The winners are –
- Triloknaath Nalwade
- Pratik Kulkarni
- Kaustubh Kulkarni.

About CSI
Computer Society of India is the first and largest body of computer professionals in India. CSI Student Chapter
CSI student’s chapter is started in November 2019. CSI is an active national organization which consists of technically sound professionals and students. It periodically offers seminars, workshops and technical events on ongoing trends. More than 100 students from the department enrolled to CSI Student Branch. This helps them to be at par with the current technology trends. Institute is planning to conduct Paper presentation competition, Software Project Competition, Quiz competition under CSI student chapter.
