Computer Centre
The Computer Centre provides quality service to the stakeholders in computing facilities, learning, teaching, training, Research, etc. The centre caters the needs of the students, faculty and staff members. This is the Central computing facility provided for the growth and development of teaching, research and other ICT related activities of the Institute. The Computer Center is equipped with modern technology computer hardware and software’s.
Function of computer Centre
- To provide a central computing facility for all the students and staff of the institute.
- To facilitate for self-learning through technologies like MOOC’s etc.
- To make the facility available for conducting their research, analysing their data, etc.
- To organise and conduct short term courses for the students and staff of the institute.
- To coordinate and extend support to departments in the institute to organize hands-on-sessions
The centre provides the following other facilities:
- Teaching and learning through well Equipped Computer Centre/Computer lab
- Standard security through CCTV Surveillance.
- Support Institute admission and administration
- Computer Certification courses
Network & Infrastructure
- Central Server: The Computer Centre supports a wide range of central servers to meet different computing and communication needs of the Institute’s faculty, staff, research scholars and students for supporting their research, teaching and learning activities.
- Software: The Institute is registered under campus agreement with Microsoft. All the necessary licensed software’s are installed and updated as and when required.
Help and Support
ITIL Standard help-desk management system is implemented through Zoho platform. For providing support to students and faculty.
