An Industry Visit to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) for First-Year MBA students was organized, providing valuable insights into India’s leading container port. Students learned about JNPA’s role as a 100% landlord and container port, handling 7 million TEUs last year, with a future capacity of 23 million TEUs. The visit also highlighted the upcoming Vadhvan Port, projected to boost GDP by 2%, and India’s first Safe Economic Zone at JNPA, creating opportunities for businesses and professionals. Additionally, students visited the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Smarak, a grand memorial honoring the legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, which is a significant landmark near the port.
