Jigyasa-2025: Techno Management Fest
Jigyasa-2025, the annual techno-management fest of MES IMCC, was conducted with great enthusiasm and participation on 14th February 2025. This year’s theme, “Tribute to the Gems of Bharat,” honored India’s luminaries across science, technology, arts, leadership, and entrepreneurship—serving as an inspiration for young minds to strive for excellence. The event successfully blended cultural pride with technical, creative, and strategic skill-building.

Inaugural Function
The fest was officially inaugurated at 9:30 AM by Shri. Vijay Bhalerao, Chairman, CAC IMCC, MES Pune in the presence of the Jigyasa Core Team, faculty members, volunteers, and early participants.
Participation and Outreach
Jigyasa-2025 witnessed an overwhelming response, with a total of 270 event registrations from students across multiple disciplines. The campus buzzed with energy as over 1000 students from various colleges in Pune and nearby cities actively participated in the fest. The event drew representation from engineering colleges, management institutes, and creative schools, reflecting its diverse appeal and inclusive spirit. The dynamic environment fostered by the fest encouraged healthy competition, collaboration, and meaningful interaction among participants from different institutions, making it a truly engaging and enriching experience for all.
List of Events and Highlights
- Box Cricket
A high-energy sporting event that drew large crowds and strong team spirit. Teams showcased coordination and competitive zeal, with knockout rounds leading to a thrilling finale.
- Treasure Hunt
A logic and clue-based challenge that tested participants’ problem-solving skills, time management, and teamwork across the campus.
- BGMI – Solo & Squad
Two parallel eSports events in the form of solo and squad Battlegrounds Mobile India matches. The tournaments saw strategic gameplay, with professional-level competitiveness and high student engagement.
- Valorant
Another popular e-sports entry that showcased fast-paced action, teamwork, and tactical thinking. It attracted gamers from both tech and non-tech backgrounds.
- Squid Game
Inspired by the popular series, this set of physical and mental challenges tested agility, attention, and risk-taking. A fun and adrenaline-pumping crowd favorite.
- Tug of War
Due to overwhelming response, two rounds of Tug of War were conducted. It was a test of physical strength and group coordination, filled with cheers and encouraging shouts.
- Code Clash
A competitive coding battle where participants solved algorithmic problems under time pressure. It highlighted logical thinking, programming prowess, and innovation.
- Flutter Shutter
A photography and design contest that allowed students to showcase visual storytelling skills. The theme was “Unsung Heroes of India,” tying directly into the overall fest theme.
- Startup War
A business pitch competition that brought together budding entrepreneurs. Participants proposed innovative startup ideas, with a focus on societal impact, scalability, and Indian values. The judging panel included industry experts and IMCC faculty.
Valedictory Function and Felicitations
The Valedictory Function was graced by:
- Aditya Verma, Vice President –TSL Consulting Pvt. Ltd.
- Akshay Desai, Director – Software Development, TSL Consulting Pvt. Ltd.; Head – Solutions consulting and Projects, Mearas Technologies Inc.
The winners were honored with certificates, trophies, and exciting prizes, recognizing their innovation and dedication.
