Y 2025-26) on 13th and 16th October 2025.The session, conducted under the guidance of Trainer Soham Dadarkar with the aim of improving students’ communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities.
A total of 180 students actively participated in the activity, where they were introduced to the significance of Group Discussions (GD) in interviews, placements, and professional communication. The trainer oriented the students on GD etiquette, body language, and methods to present ideas effectively before the activity began.
Students were divided into smaller groups and given contemporary and career-oriented topics such as “Job vs
Startup,” “Is Degree Essential for Career Growth?” and “Dual Employment” Each group received preparation time, followed by a structured discussion monitored by faculty members. The activity encouraged students to express ideas confidently, listen actively, and present logical arguments supported by examples. This setup helped them understand different perspectives and enhanced their ability to communicate clearly under time pressure.
Overall, the session successfully strengthened students’ communication skills and prepared them for placement-oriented GD rounds, making it a valuable component of their soft skills training.
